Nobel Prize in Physics for 2010 Awarded to Wiley Authors

John Wiley & Sons, Inc., (NYSE:JWa) (NYSE:JWb), is pleased to learn that the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for 2010 jointly to Professors Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov for groundbreaking experiments regarding the two-dimensional material graphene. Both winners are Wiley authors. The early history of graphene was described in an essay in Angewandte Chemie two weeks ago, and that paper is also available to read for free.

The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel for 2010 Awarded to Wiley Authors

John Wiley & Sons, Inc., is pleased to learn that the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has awarded the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel for 2010 jointly to Professors Peter A. Diamond, Dale T. Mortensen, and Christopher A. Pissarides for their analysis of markets with search frictions; all three are Wiley authors.
